With extra wide hall ways Wilson Lodge has space to accommodate all types of mechanical equipment to assist residents. Four separate and more private lounge/dining areas including a quiet lounge and spiritual cove library and meeting rooms for families and GP's. The spacious dining room converts to a lounge/activities area and has a gas log fire television music and piano for residents and their visitors to enjoy. Peaceful outside secure garden areas with seating randomly situated throughout graduated walking path barbeque area veranda and pleasant paved area with shade sails. Vegetable herb and flower gardens for residents to tend. Wilson Lodge Nursing Home aims to provide a safe and secure environment that addresses the needs of residents in order to maintain their life style at an optimum level. The nursing home will: Provide a high level of health care for the residents. Enable the residents to achieve and maintain a maximum level of independence as members of society. Wilson Lodge Nursing Home has 50 beds which are approved and certified by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care to provide quality residential aged care. Wilson Lodge provides a secure environment for residents with security codes on all external gates and codes. Security codes for doors are available from staff. Wilson Lodge Nursing Home is a HIGH Care Facility. Rooms are available in single and double. Couples can be accommodated in a double room when available. Systems are in place to ensure residents' personal information and other confidential information related to the management of the organisation is safeguarded against loss unauthorised access modification or disclosure. We recognise that making the decision to live in an aged care facility is not an easy one. Management and staff are committed to providing emotional support to new residents and their families on admission and on a day to day basis. A mix of experienced Registered Div 1 & Div 2 Nurses are rostered 24 hours per day to provide contemporary care and service to residents.
