Churches of Christ Care Toowoomba Aged Care Service is a 89 bed residential service offering a range of personal care therapies and accommodation options. It is situated in landscaped grounds on the southern side of Toowoomba the gateway to the Darling Downs. Living at Toowoomba residents and visitors can enjoy time outdoors walking through the gardens sitting in the thatched gazebo and relax listening to the water features.The service is co-located with Churches of Christ Care Nubeena Retirement Village Toowoomba. Common areas Residents can enjoy meals in the large dining area which accommodates around 45 people. Relaxation and activity areas are offered in three sitting areas of varying sizes (with enclosed verandah and access to secure garden area and thatched gazebo and water features) accommodating 20 people. A further small lounge provides a quiet seating area for six. The building provides a generous foyer area with plenty of seating and kitchenette for tea/coffee. It can accommodate 15-20 people to socialise participate in activities and watch the comings and goings in the community. The common areas are air-conditioned and heated. Residents in the secure dementia wing gather in the combined dining/lounge room with TV. A smaller sitting area for four people is also available as are secure outdoor areas with gardens shaded walking areas and seating.
