Background

Eldercare Trowbridge House was established by the Congregational Homes for the Aged Inc. on land originally occupied by the Luhrs Road Congregational Church. In June 1977, the Home joined the Uniting Church Retirement Homes (now Eldercare) and is now known as Trowbridge House.
